I have an MA in Egyptology from the University of Manchester. I write fantasy and time travel books, which tend to have an Egyptian element in them - these are self published. I have also written and illustrated children's books about Egyptology to a traditional publisher.
I love it that I can use Dabble online wherever I am - even on the go, using my mobile phone. Dabble is so easy and logical to use - not too many bells and whistles but everything I need to write quickly when I have a free moment. I can plan my story on Dabble, I can use for my world creation and character planning. Even the tiny detail of being able to use highlighters means a lot to me, especially when doing research. I can set a target word count and date for my story, and also use an inbuilt timer, if I want to write for a set amount of minutes (pomodoro-style). What's not to like? I even used Dabble when writing my dissertation. I have other writing apps on my computer, but since I found Dabble, I haven't used them much.
