I am a father of three writing fantasy in my spare time. I love getting lost in an adventure novel and that is what I try and create in my own novels.

I’ve always been a writer. When I was eight I wrote a story called “Princess Zelda”, which was a plagiarized mixture of Moses and Cinderella, and begged my mother for weeks to take it to the local library and get them to publish it. Her gentle refusal to do so, while setting my career as an author back a few years, did not stop me from continuing my writing. I have since learned that there are a few more steps between pencil copy and library. I write emotions. Love, hate, fear, redemption, second chances. My writing is primarily paranormal romance with modern mystery thrown in for spice, and a little horror to stir the senses. And humor. Always humor.

Cassandra Featherstone lives in the Midwest with her computer geek husband, artsy goblin teen, an author dog, and four cats that Loki himself spawned. Her works include sci-fi fantasy/urban fantasy, paranormal, humorous, and academy whychoose with characters over eighteen. Her books never include non-consensual elements, but feature accurate, safe depictions of BDSM and kink lifestyles.

Mallory lives in Texas with her husband and their two young boys. She spends her days homeschooling and full-time parenting. Her nights, and any free time she manages to carve out during the day, are devoted to reading and writing.

I don't really think of myself as an author yet. I still have a day job. I wrote both Assumed and the sequel, Abandoned, in my free time - in the early morning hours or late into the night once my kids were asleep. Writing is therapy. Through my characters, I am constantly learning more about myself. I'm currently finishing the third book in a series, and I'm looking forward to a new project.

I’m an American author of books for children and adults, and am a native of Athens, Georgia. For many years, I lived in the nearby small town of Winterville, the setting of my debut children’s middle-grade novel, Gone From These Woods, published by Random House. My latest book is Cooking With Annie D: Southern Recipes Seasoned with Seagraves and Pettyjohn Family History. When I’m not writing, I work in my used and rare book business, Junebug Books and Collectibles, that I founded in 1998.
