Sophia has been telling stories since she could talk. She loves learning almost as much as she loves writing, pursuing both her undergraduate and master’s degrees. She has studied archaeology, anthropology, and the languages and histories of a variety of cultures. Her master’s degree is in medieval history, with a focus on the British Isles. She’s been fortunate enough to participate in three archaeological excavations and surveys–one at a Native American settlement in southern Indiana, one at a Tudor estate in Essex, and one at an early medieval ringfort in County Roscommon, Ireland. After marrying her high school sweetheart, attending grad school, and moving nearly ten times in as many years, Sophia and her husband settled into a lake house in northern Indiana. When she isn’t working on her next novel, you can find her in the garden and covered in dirt. They live happily in the middle of nowhere with two little boys, two atrociously rude doggos, and one ornery cat.

Shelbia grew up enthralled with classic monsters and ghost hunting both on-screen and between the pages of books. After her literature professor told her it would be a tragedy for her to not pursue writing, she decided she wanted to write books as exciting as the tales she had steeped in as a child. Shelbia lives in North Alabama with her husband where she is wife, cat mother, and the local spooky girl.

I am a neurodiverse author of fantasy novels and historical fiction-non-fiction novels. When I'm not inventing stuff or wiring stuff up, I'm writing, or out and about on Lucy the horse, exploring the hidden byeways and the deeper wooded sections of the Peak District. I am part of the Foxes' Retreat literary team.

My first novella; "Sundown" is a quick 18+ spicy romance with lots of themes and a sequel in the works! At home, I like to curl up with a cat and a book. I love to read many types of books, but most of what I write are sweet historical Christian Romances. Many of them about distant relatives from tales passed down through the generations.

Justin Cook was born in Nevada. He’s a technical architect who has worked at the most prestigious companies and holds over fifty technical certifications, including top-tier status among the technical community worldwide. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish literature, a master’s in information systems, and is pursuing a PhD in information systems. Most days, you will find him lounging in his Kirkland sweats from Costco, writing, where he transports readers to a place where bold heroes have endearing flaws, as he broadly addresses the human experience. The swashbuckling action-adventure Infectious Injustice is his first novel.
