Keira North (also writing as Darya Moon) is a queer, nonbinary, Romanian author living in Montreal. As an urban fantasy serial author, I love mixing mythology with a finger on the pulse of real world struggles. I'm an on-again, off-again anthropology student and the love for these themes as well as social justice topics find their way into my writing.

I'm a mature adult who works in the care industry with vulnerable people. This profession gave me the idea for my first book which was published 18 months ago but hasn't taken off. I've got the writing bug and really enjoy being able to put my imagination into a story.

I write Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Cozy Mysteries with a twist. Each series contains at least one sassy, snarky - and magical canine character. My books feature humor, various and sundry supernatural creatures, and even a passel of troublesome Greek gods and goddesses. My tagline is: For a howling good read.
