I have always been passionate about writing and creating my own worlds to escape to.

I'm L.C. Estallene and I write what I want to read! I am a neurodivergent chick and I want to reach other ADHD and spectrum peeps with a writing style that I am still working to tailor toward people like myself! I love character-driven, fast-paced writing. My chapters are atypically short because... WELL... so is my attention span! I love a vast swathe of different genres! My first novella; "Sundown" is a quick 18+ spicy romance with lots of themes and a sequel in the works! At home, I like to curl up with a cat and a book. I love my two geriatric horses more than anything in the world. Lots of authors want their name and face on book covers but I REALLY don't... (hello social anxiety!) Kimberly Stanton was born and raised just outside of Los Angeles, in bright and sunny California. If she isn't curled up with a cup of coffee and a book, Kimberly can be found out exploring the Hawaiian coasts with her husband and black labs, Koda and Cerberus. As a voracious reader, Kimberly wanted to create a character in Cassandra that was equal parts sass and badass with a heart of gold. Sorcerer Awakened is Kimberly's first book.

I’m an American author of books for children and adults, and am a native of Athens, Georgia. For many years, I lived in the nearby small town of Winterville, the setting of my debut children’s middle-grade novel, Gone From These Woods, published by Random House. My latest book is Cooking With Annie D: Southern Recipes Seasoned with Seagraves and Pettyjohn Family History. When I’m not writing, I work in my used and rare book business, Junebug Books and Collectibles, that I founded in 1998.

I retired from my job as a career prosecutor in 2012 and began writing fiction full time.

I live in New York City and write books for kids of all ages (including adults)! Most of my work is in picture books, though I have longer works (novels) in progress. I tend to write on the themes of nature, family and culture stemming from my life experiences.

I am an avid hiker, mountain biker, and outdoorsman. The Canaries is my debut novel.
