River Sutaria (formerly known as Jharna) is a spoken-word performer and creative writer. They were introduced to slam poetry during their freshman year of high school and have been sharpening their craft ever since. River’s writing style, heavily influenced by Blythe Baird, Sarah Dessen, Amber Smith, and Carmen Maria Machado, is a kaleidoscope of haunting confessions, vivid imagery, and poetic metaphors. It is through sharing their intimate pieces of work that the twenty-four-year-old poet encourages others to use their voice. River’s personal ties to mental health, sexual assault, and transphobia have led them to creatively advocate for the various social issues that they survived.

Grew up in a small town in Delaware, where you could always find me reading and daydreaming about the different stories going through my head. Until, I moved to North Carolina and started writing my own stories and have been doing it ever since.

By day, I am a professional content writer in Cape Town, South Africa, by night a fantasy writer. I have a professional background in psychology and use this with my experience to craft stories that lean on characters and imaginative world-building.

I am a romance author who specializes in steamy and reverse harem—sometimes one man just isn’t enough! I’ve been published for five years and released forty books during that time in subgenres such as paranormal, contemporary, academy, omegaverse and scifi. I love writing female characters who discover their own strengths throughout the story and learn to reclaim their own lives after trauma, along with bad boys who have more than a few red flags—as it turns out, red is my favorite color!

Sedona Ashe doesn’t reserve her sarcasm for her books; her poor husband can tell you that her wit, humor, and snarky attitude are just part of her daily life. While she loves writing paranormal shifter reverse harem novels, she’s a sucker for true love, twisted situations, and wacky humor. Sedona lives in a small town at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. She and her husband share their home with their three children, adorable pup, five cats, an arctic fox, chickens, an emu with happy feet, and over a hundred reptiles. When she isn’t working, she enjoys getting away from the computer to hike, free dive, travel, study languages, and capture places and animals in her photography. She has a crazy goal of writing a million words in a year, and spending six months exploring Indonesia.

Mythology and religion has always fascinated me, and I think it’s important to explore connections between the two. Ultimately, man has created a vision of what our past was, is, or should be based on the stories their told, and the value in exploring human conscience lies in every legend or belief that we were told throughout our lives. I have only one book so far, but it was important for me to let loose with questions about where we came from while exploring a dystopian world that embraced and shunned everything we think we know. My hope is that it doesn’t offend anyone but rather opens their imagination to the impossible possibilities. This book was for me as well as anyone who needs an escape from their own world.
