Cathryn Leigh manages the quality aspects of a clinical laboratory by day and experiments with yarn, fabric, and words by night. Unfortunately, she’s also a wife and a mother of two active high schooler schoolers so her time for experiments is limited. But somehow she’s manage to write and publish (as infrequent as it might be); create cosplays for herself, family, and friends; playing in table top rpgs, as well game mastering her own. She’s pretty sure if she wasn’t an organized mess, none of this would be possible.

When not moonlighting as a self-published author of YA Fantasy and poetry, I daylight as an English and art teacher and freelance editor. I love stories about friendship and sword fights, especially if you can throw them together.

Hugrún Björnsdóttir is an Icelandic author. Her first published novel “Rót alls ills” (or “The Root of All Evil”) is a romantic thriller with elements of mystery and family secrets. She completed her Advanced Graduate Certificate in Project Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2021. She works full time as a Delivery Manager in product development in the Technology Division at the Icelandic company Controlant. She lives in Iceland with her husband and three children.

I’m an east coast Canadian writing maritimes-infused books in a myriad of genres. I'm a lover of genre fiction, I think it is a great way to push boundaries and say things about the world through story.

I served in the Armed Forces and am a true Patriot. I stand for the flag and kneel before God. It's been a desire to write fiction and finally my book is published - it's almost surreal. I'm just enjoying the rest of this journey.

I don't really think of myself as an author yet. I still have a day job. I wrote both Assumed and the sequel, Abandoned, in my free time - in the early morning hours or late into the night once my kids were asleep. Writing is therapy. I have an MA in Egyptology from the University of Manchester. I write fantasy and time travel books, which tend to have an Egyptian element in them - these are self published. I have also written and illustrated children's books about Egyptology to a traditional publisher.

I work at Kennedy Space Center as a Fiber Optic Specialist, getting paid to explore the space center's deepest tunnels, alligator-filled swamps, and tallest launch towers. I duck at the unexpected sonic booms of the SpaceX boosters landing at the cape after a successful launch. "There is a new space race at KSC as Blue Origins and SpaceX assist NASA in establishing the Gateway station for the return to the moon, and NASA readies the launch of the SLS-Artemis-2 for the next launch around the moon!" A new wild west in Florida to rival the Apollo moon landings. But if that is not exciting enough? "I like 24-hour paintball games as well as the space program." Diving? Before KSC, I spent seven years as a USAF Eastern Test Range diver. "Someone had to do it." Those were the sunburned days of traveling to a different island every two weeks for all expense-covered trips, gear, and travel paid for by the United States Air Force, Flint knapping? What? On the wild Volcanic Island known as Ascension, I taught myself the art of Flintknapping and have been making stone tools ever since, allowing myself to sink deep into the history of mankind. The result? An eclectic blending of the current space race, the possible future, and immersion into distant pasts. Toss in 30 years of dedicated stalking through the Florida jungles, mud-smeared, intent on the paintball body count, and laughter of the imitation of the warrior spirit. Not a real warrior, only the imitation. It's all magic, after all. Kayaking racing? Check out the Missouri River 340 mile kayak race (finished it three times so far) Horses? Our family horse stables 'Stonebridge Stables' in eastern Missouri was home until I joined the United States Air Force for a four year jaunt around Florida, the Caribbean and the southwest United States.. Writing? Every now and then I actually have time to write about the blending of life's journeys and the 'once upon a time' in Florida's lost History. Even some space race sci fi that hasn't happened yet, but will. It's all magic, after all.
