DabbleU and the writing community
Writing is a solo act. You, the blank page, and a cast of people who only exist in your head.
That’s the trouble with it. And it’s why a little company goes a long way. Writers who finish books tend to have other writers around them, cheering, commiserating, and answering the “is this normal?” question at eleven at night.
DabbleU is where Dabble gathers all of that up. This page explains what DabbleU is and how to reach it from inside the app.
We’ll cover:
- What DabbleU is: free writing-craft articles and courses
- A community that helps you finish: why writing near other writers sticks
- Open DabbleU Campus from Dabble: the link in the Help menu
What DabbleU is
Section titled “What DabbleU is”DabbleU is Dabble’s free learning hub, and it lives at dabbleu.com.
It’s stocked with writing-craft articles and courses on the things every novelist wrestles with: plotting the middle, building characters who feel like people, surviving the messy first draft, editing without losing your nerve.
It’s free to read, and you don’t need a Dabble subscription to get in.

A community that helps you finish
Section titled “A community that helps you finish”Here’s the quiet truth about finishing a book: it’s easier with company.
DabbleU isn’t only articles. It’s a community of writers, all of them in the middle of something hard and personal, exactly like you. People to trade word counts with, to ask the dumb-brilliant craft question, to remind you that the saggy middle happens to everyone.
You don’t have to write alone. That’s the whole point.
